Women entrepreneurship has emerged as a powerful force for inclusive growth, social innovation, and sustainable development across the globe. In India, women entrepreneurs are not only creating enterprises but also transforming communities, challenging gender norms, and contributing to national development. This paper explores how women entrepreneurs act as agents of change by building businesses that generate economic independence, social mobility, and leadership opportunities. The study analyses the socioeconomic role of women entrepreneurs, the challenges they face, and the policy frameworks supporting them. It argues that empowering women through entrepreneurship is not merely an economic strategy but a transformative social movement that reshapes power structures and promotes gender equity. The paper adopts a qualitative and conceptual approach supported by secondary data from government reports and scholarly literature.
